2006 PINOT NOIR, GARYS' VINEYARD

Brilliant ruby in color the '06 Garys' has sweet cherry fruit and ripe plum on the nose and a supple texture with elegant oak overtones and lush tannins. Named after partners Gary Franscioni and Gary Pisoni, this 50 acre hillside parcel was planted in 1995 and is located just south of Monterey in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Garys' vines now yield some of the most sought after fruit in the states. Serve with grilled lamb chops or any dish with wild mushrooms to bring out Pinot Noir’s famously subtle earthiness. Drink now through 2012.
